Letter From the Elders

In light of the COVID-19 a message from our elders

Dear MBC Church Family,

After much prayer and discussion and in response to the strong recommendations of Tarrant County regarding COVID-19, this Sunday we will meet “online” only for our worship service at 11:00am. There will be no Sunday School or AWANA Sunday afternoon. You can watch the service with your family at https://mbcchurch.life/live

Church family, this is a time we all need to step up to give or continue to give so that we can be on solid financial footing to be able to help those in need. You can give online through the MBC website by going to https://mbcchurch.life/give or use text giving by texting “mbc” to 732-56 and then following the directions.

I know that this will impact some of you financially, and we are praying for you and want to help you. Please let us know your need.

We are in uncharted territory and are facing a challenge that comes along only a few times in a lifetime. Our God is not wringing his hands wondering what to do. He wants us to trust him. At times like this we are reminded that the church is not the building; it is the people. God is not finished with us. We are only getting started, and there is so much more that God wants to do in us and through us.

We are going to get through this together. We are stronger together. I encourage you to trust in God, lean into Him, abide in Him, love big, give where He calls you to give, serve where He calls you to serve.

In the darkest times, God is our light. Times like this remind us that we are a city on a hill, and God lights up the city through us. Keep shining the light. He has great things ahead for us together. Love you, church.
